A really hard question on Satan and deception.
RE: A really hard question on Satan and deception.

And why is Satan necessary anyway? Isaiah 45:7 I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things. (KJV)

Tradition, dogma and Revelation tie Satan to dragons and that old serpent.

Either he was talking through the talking snake or snakes can naturally talk.
Christians use whatever they think is a good argument for either delusion.
No one with half a brain will believe in the fantasy, miracles and magic of a literal bible.

You see right there is the problem. You leave no room for the possibility that you could be wrong. If the atheist doesnt see it as you then they are deceiving themselves, if they do then you were right all along. Just like the hiddenness of god if someone sincerely reaches out and finds god then they did it right, if they don't find god they weren't sincere enough. The other possibility is that the scriptures say what they say and they were the best attempt of bronze age goat herders, but that they are no longer relevant, and that there is no god. You cannot rule that possibility out but you act like you those possibilities do not exist and it's the atheist fault for not believing as you do. It is the consequence and arrogance of faith that you are so certain on things that you cannot possibly know.

I do absolutely know, I have a real relationship with God and have seen His works. There is no possibility that He does not exist, can I prove this in a way that will satisfy you, no, but that is not my fault I have given to you some of the things I know of God yet you reject them, the burden falls on you.
God loves those who believe and those who do not and the same goes for me, you have no choice in this matter. That puts the matter of total free will to rest.

If A & E brought death to the world, where did God get the dead animal skins to fashion their clothing with.
Death had to already be here.

Like most, you have to scrap 1/2 the Bible to make your theology make any kind of sense at all.

Like most, you read what you want to read and not what is written.

Adam and Eve sinned and then God killed the animals, shedding their blood to cover Adam and Eve's sin and use the skins to cloth them. This covering of Adam and Eve has this symbolic yet realistic meaning. See, no you'll continue to deceive yourself, the entire Bible is relevant. You need to either quit showing your ignorance of scripture or start studying it and see it's truth. Again I see the truth in the scriptures while you continue to deceive yourself.

I will read the Bible if you can quote for me the information you just added to scriptures about God killing animals in Eden.

Your bible tells you clearly not to add and here you are adding. Tsk tsk.

How about a question of pure logic.
"She knew it was wrong and she did it anyway. Adam knew it was wrong but listened to his wife instead of God. "

Without the knowledge of good and evil, how could A & E know that they were doing evil or wrong?

Can you tell the taste of an apple without eating of it? Of course not.

A & E could not tell evil from good either till they tasted of it.

I do not expect you to give an honest answer. Add more to scripture if you like but do not expect anyone to believe your pathetic apologetics.

DL

I knew that you were not reading scripture let lone studying them. I will tell you this, read the 1st four chapters of Genesis. When and if you read the chapters I've given, pay attention to the fact that they knew it was wrong to eat the fruit of the tree and they knew the consequences for disobedience to God. After eating the fruit they understood why they were not suppose to eat of the fruit. Just like a child that has been told not to touch a hot object, they know they are not to touch, when they do they understand that Mom and Dad were right, they understand the pain it causes. To obey one does not need to understand what will happen, only that they need to obey. I have not given you any pathetic apologetics , what I have given is reason and truth, your denial of them makes them no less true.

'You have no clue do you?'

Enlighten me, as I'm sure your proof wouldn't satisfy anyone.

Arrogance and delusion. You know nothing of the sort, but proclaim your beliefs to be truth. I'm tired of the Chrisitian inability to recognize their ideology as beliefs, and their propensity to peddle their interpretation as the only correct one.

A little humility would do you people a lot of good.

I'm not trying to be arrogant, telling what I know to be the truth. Sorry that you do not see it as I do, this does not mean what I know is not the truth.

How did Adam and Eve know it was wrong if they had no concept of good and evil until they ate of the tree?

How can they be faulted for not knowing (not having the 'knowledge') of right and wrong. One cannot commit a sin without the knowledge that it is a sin.
