No, sure. There's nothing wrong with needing authority. It's just really sad to me that this is abused by religion to have a pretend authority that is beyond any challenge, while actually just pushing the person around yourself.

Come on Spooky, you're not reading those passages with an open mind, you're just reading them as if you don't want to understand god's love for us.
