Imagine god turned up and spoke to everyone in the world at once. He says that he wants to clear up what is moral and what isn't moral. My question is how much would you be willing to change your views, based on what he said?
For example, if he said rape was now moral, would you go along with that and have no problem with it in the future, or would you still think it is immoral? I'm hoping people would generally still think it was immoral. If you would be prepared to switch some things from immoral to moral, and vice versa, please give a few examples of those. Such as, "I think masturbation is immoral, but if god said it was moral, I'd be happy to change my mind about it."

Well you know, if it is at least causing some people to think about why this is so hard to answer, then I'm happy.
If you ask me a question, any question, I'd be happy to give it my best answer based on my beliefs. Of course, it may be that I'd have to give it some thought if it's a very tough moral question, or that I don't understand the question, or whatever. But I'd never be happy with literally not being able to answer a simple question because every answer blasts holes in my beliefs.
I need to make some Christian socks so I can actually get some answers

They would have to change to whatever God said. In fact it's hard to say if they actually have a moral system based on there religion now. I would not consider It a moral system as it is just a set of commands that they follow with no idea how God determined they were good.

Thing is, they're not doing what they think they're doing. They have been persuaded that they are, but clearly they are not. What they're actually doing, on the whole, is the same as everyone else. But sadly, some of the warped and bigoted views which are still fashionable creep in. Whether they are previously held or taught is difficult to say.
Those that really are doing what they think they are doing are the truly dangerous ones. I hope we don't have any like that on this forum. I doubt it, although a few people have me concerned.
