Core Message Of Christianity Isn't One Of Love

Core Message Of Christianity Isn't One Of Love
The message of Christianity is basically that God/Jesus wants you to believe, love and worship him, and if you don't do it he'll send you to hell to be tortured for eternity.

How is this be interpreted as a message of love?

The core message is control freaks running the show. The message is, suppress their most basic instincts in order for them to get neurotic and make them bow to your rules.

You better show Him some love, or you'll get fried. See? Love.
The fool hath said in his heart, There is a God. They are corrupt, they have done abominable works, there is none that doeth good.

It's a fascist dictatorship with an imaginary leader.

God gets described as having all these human emotions such a love. That's a clear giveaway that he is just an imaginary construct based on ourselves. It doesn't fit with all the other ridiculous qualities he is supposed to have (omni-word salad).

All religions are intended for control of the masses through fear. It's what's prevented the ninety-odd percent of the population from eating the rich élite since at least the time of the pharaohs. Xtianity merely perfected the game, to the extent that the masses willingly, even eagerly, put on their own shackles. Now we have mass communication and the internet - aka "where religions come to die" - it's the religions' turn to be afraid, as evidenced by the amount of rabid scorched-earth threats from their mouthpieces.
At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist.  This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair.  Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second.  That means there's a situation vacant.'

That cuts both ways obviously. For every reasonable Internet article or link, there are at least ten from Lala land on any given topic. Sometimes I think, the internet has only been invented for people sharing their farts, burps and porn. As with every other medium. You have to be willing to get informed and to actively search for information. If you are determined to stay ignorant the internet will only confirm you in your ignorance. As is frequently shown by links posted here.

Christianity is typically a bait-and-switch scam, in which one thing is advertised, but what one gets is something else.

"A wise man ... proportions his belief to the evidence."

very simply put, We are all destined to Hell. we are all born live and die on a train that is heading to Hell with no other planned stops. The Love God offers, provides those who want off that train a way to get off of it.
