God is the creator and regulator. Something to keep in mind is that birds of a feather flock together. Another thing to understand is kinetic energy. We are all energy, and each of us vibrates at a different level. For example heat and light vibrates very quickly, while cold and darkness vibrates very slowly, and there is everything in between. Love vibrates fast, and hate vibrates slow. While on earth, all vibrations can coexist but in the spiritual realm, we will gravitate to where we belong based on our vibration frequency. Outside the body, you will go to where you fit in based on your vibration, almost like tuning into a radio station. You can't tune into 94.1, and listen to 88.7, for example.
God is light and love, and if you don't have the same frequency to exist in harmonious balance, you will simply not be able to go there. The key thing is that your vibrational level can change based on your thoughts. Love will change your frequency to a higher level, while hate will change it to a lower level. Once outside the body, we enter back into the spiritual realm.
I'll go into more detail about the various spiritual realms in another post. For now, I want to mention the main message of life is to love. It's the most important thing to do while we are alive, and can not only change you for the better, but also change others based on your actions towards them, which can spread and make a better world. Why is H. sapiens unique in this respect? Every single groups of organisms that exist, have ever existed, or ever will exist on this planet have evolved through evolution. Bacteria are notorious for evolving, for example. Does a bacterium require a soul to 'interact with others in the physical world'? I've had a bacterial infection a time or two in my life, and they felt pretty soulless at the time.

If indeed 'Love is all it takes to grow', I propose an experiment. Go to your local garden shop and purchase two houseplants (it really doesn't matter what kind). Lavish love on the first plant, but never fertilize or water it. For the second plant, do the opposite- try to gin up feelings of utter hatred and contempt for it, but make sure it gets the correct amounts of food/water/sunlight, do your best to keep it free of pests, disease and mechanical damage. Conduct the experiment for one month, and post pictures of your results here.

Ok, time more another hypothetical. Your best friend on the world, the person you most love, trust and respect, is kidnapped and horrifically tortured (devise the tortures in your own mind). At the end of it all, your friend is brutally killed and cannibalized, and his murderers send you a video of the entire proceedings. Would you 'love' these people? (If it helps, I can give you an exact, precise definition of love). I can understand you forgiving them (I wouldn't agree, but I'd understand), but to say that you 'love' these brutes in human form is to stretch the definition out of all recognizable shape.

I have a hypothesis about that. I think that the scores of the faithful who have been told that atheists are "x" (insert list of negatively taken attributes here) cannot square, in their own minds, that people who just don't believe actually -are- those things "x". That -can't- be all there is to atheism because atheism is "bad"....and that just doesn't seem all that bad. There isn't a human being on earth who isn't personally acquainted with skepticism and doubt about something.
So we get the constant angry atheist, the neverending stream of hard hearted atheists. Atheism *plus...and it's always the plus they take issue with, never the atheism.

Scoob, first you have to prove to us that god exists. Using scientific method. Or better yet, have him show up and say "hi". The creator of the universe shouldn't need a word-salad-smith to explain who and what he is. When you prove it, we can go to point number 2, prove humans have a soul. Then there is point number 3, prove there is an afterlife.
I don't believe in any of the three, but provide quantifiable, and testable evidence and then I'll listen.

I don't think I have to do anything, but tell people what I've experienced. I would say I'm here to teach people that what they perceive may not actually be reality. Reality is something we don't know due to our limited senses and our brain trying to make sense and order out of our experience. Our eyes can only see a limited spectrum of light, our ears can hear a limited spectrum of sounds, and our nose can only smell a limited spectrum. Would you call a dog crazy because it can hear things you can't, or a bee crazy because it can see ultraviolet light that you can't?
Why would you expect God to say Hi? I would say that's an expectation that you demand of another, when the other has it's own free will. Or perhaps we think since we live in the present that we are advanced, but maybe compared to another that has existed longer, we are just primitive, to be left along to evolve without interference.

To clarify all I've presented is information learned from reading near death experiences. I didn't provide links, but all the information can be found here if you have the time or desire to research further: http://www.near-death.com/
The best information can be found under the conclusion section. This is information that has come from people that have claimed to have died, left their body, went into the spiritual realm, and learned before told they had to come back. Another key thing with may NDEs is there is a point where they are told that if they go past this point, they can't go back into their bodies. So all of this information is not complete to the point that this is information that is brought back from a point, rather than seeing what's past the point of no return. I don't claim to know everything, and I would think anyone that does is a complete fool.

But if you don't care whether people consider your conclusions to be valid, based on your presented methodology, then that seems to me like you don't care about methodology. You're just interested in telling stories.
