My doctor asked me to pray.

You lie every day. There is no god.

My job is not to coddle your delusion, but rather to provide a source of reason so that maybe you can stop being so goddamn ignorant.

Just going "I had my prayers answered" is exactly the "He did" i was on about. Either give some genuine proof other than what essentially says "he did", such as an actual event, or stop trying to tell a bunch of people who don't believe in your god, to believe in them because you think they exist.

You know how all artists work?
How can they make something that didn't exist before? something no one knew about before...

Think: Beethoven's 9th Symphony..... Mozart's Alla Turca... Picasso's Guernica... Gaudi's Barcelona Cathedral...

Could it be that you have engaged a part of your brain that they had been aware of their all lives?

It's for those anecdotal accounts, that, if I'm ever to accept any evidence for a god, it will never be a sole presentation to my person... if this being is to be as universal as the believers claim, then it should present itself to all, equally.... not just me.... never just me. I'm aware of how fallible my brain is.
For something this universal, only ALL will do. Not some, not most... ALL.
And don't get me started on "prophets".... -.-'

Why is it a good thing that God has to intervene? Doesn't that mean his plan was flawed?

And why does he need our help seeing the flaws?

Or if his plan was already perfect, why is he compromising it based on people's (relatively short sighted) whims?

The melodrama kills me!
I should've done some rebuking of my own when I believed.

There's really no reason why I can't now, actually. Dodgy

My hope is you will be a believer again some day, hope this doesn't offend you.

GC

Not offended.

In the event that proof of God's existence were to somehow be provided in the future, I would have no choice but to accept it as the truth. I'm not an atheist because of anger, spite, bitterness, rebellion, or a need to justify a particular behavior.

I just don't think there's anyone watching us.

That's a good doctor.

I want get you started on anything if that's what you want, you've been presented with the truth of scriptures and it's your decision. I will say God has always intended for man to have a personal relationship with Him, it starts in Genesis and goes through the entire Bible. Not everyone will be presented the truth because they wouldn't accept it if God presented himself before them, they like you don't trust their own mind.

God loves those who believe and those who do not and the same goes for me, you have no choice in this matter. That puts the matter of total free will to rest.

I've written some in this thread go and read I'm not in the habit of repeating myself to people who want listen.

If there was only some way to determine that there was actual truth in scripture.

Fixed that for you.

Ill put down 5 things and these 5 things prove there is no real christians anymore

1. Christians originally rejected the notion of personal ownership of property and times. They were
socialists in redistributing the wealth among the people. (Well damn there goes there goes all the rich people and GOP and anyone holding
any sort of wealth.)

2. Original christians didn't have flashy churches just small gatherings at places. No one
seems to really do that anymore. All those flashy church organs.. >_>

3. They didn't warn people about hell. That would be a good start with christians these days.

4. christians were not patriotic people at all.

5. they were pacifists something that christians aren't these days.

So looking at that there is no true christians they are all long gone and dead. Also no one follows jesus teachings
i mean really how hard is it to open up the church to the poor http://www.addictinginfo.org/2013/12/28/...help-them/. Were atheists we are more christian than you christians are that is sad really really sad.
Atheism is a non-prophet organization join today.
