Questions about noah ark

Quote:a fleet of cranes, Boom lifts and construction workers.

Obviously commonplace in the Bronze Age!

Here's another interesting discussion.

It is interesting that the measurements do scale to the human form mathematically.

My eyes just rolled so hard my eyebrows are in my ears.
That's compelling, can you do that at will or is it a response  like blushing?

When they rebuilt my face back in '72 they used cheap ball bearing in some spots, so it tends to slide around a bit. (In case you're wondering I'm not quite a pretty as Wade W. Wilson after he called Agent Smith.)

Yep this. Because that warning in red, at the bottom of the thread clearly wasn't a fucking clue.

It seems ludicrous that people waste brain cycles on such absurdities, and why anyone attempt to find naturalistic solutions to the various issues, only in the end to appeal a magic man. Why bother, if you're going to do that. Is your god so impotent that he can't violate the laws of physics. It's all magic.

Wasting brain cycles is the primary activity of most humans. If it were otherwise we wouldn't have so many TV channels.

You don't see a problem here?!?!

That you're an idiot?  Yeah, we all see it.  Just humoring you.

It sure makes a difference if you count the begats.

Are you really that flippant? Really?

For the millionth time, there is a difference between religious faith and faith in testable, repeatable processes. I have faith that when I sit my dining room chair, it won't collapse. I have this faith because of the 1,000 other times I have sat in this chair and not had it collapse. I acknowledge that it could collapse (so not blind faith.) I have faith that the scientific method works, because over and over it produces results. Do you ever feel even the slightest bit dishonest when you distrust science only when it contradicts your worldview? Don't worry, I know the answer already.

Full definition according to who?!  Idiot.
For the million and oneth time no there is not.

Full Definition of FAITH

1
a :  allegiance to duty or a person :  loyalty
b (1) :  fidelity to one's promises (2) :  sincerity of intentions
2
a (1) :  belief and trust in and loyalty to God (2) :  belief in the traditional doctrines of a religion
b (1) :  firm belief in something for which there is no proof (2) :  complete trust
3
:  something that is believed especially with strong conviction; especially :  a system of religious beliefs <the Protestant faith>

all definitions of faith require little to not proof. It is will sustained belief. So like it or not faith in 'science' (especially when science has no answers on a particular subject) is the same brand of faith (mustard seed) we use to find God.

Esq, your definition of faith (believing in spite of evidence) is apparently unique to you guys.
Drich gave you the correct definitions, yet you come up with one that doesn't exist.
Faith is having belief or confidence in something. PERIOD
That includes Atheists.
You have faith in your car.
If that faith was in spite of evidence- you would would be looking for a reliable one to replace it.
I got rid of the lying clunker that the System foisted on me a long time ago.
The purveyors of evolution make the proverbial used car salesmen look like Mother Teresa.
But then again, the only alternative to creation is this stupid theory of evolution.
So people have to live with it and it gets shoved down everybody's throat until some of us look around at reality and vomit it out like the puke that it is.

I'm guessing head wound early in life.  And I like some car salesmen.  Mother Theresa was a dick.

Just think, a thousand years from now, scholars will point out that that there really is a train station and a Privet Drive in London Atheists won’t be able to deny that fact, so they’ll have a hard time holding on to their unbelief in Harry Potter. They’ll have no excuse.
The god who allows children to be raped out of respect for the free will choice of the rapist, but punishes gay men for engaging in mutually consensual sex couldn't possibly be responsible for an intelligently designed universe.

I may defend your right to free speech, but i won't help you pass out flyers.

And we have video of a middle-aged man and a teen going to a deserted side street, finding a telephone box and then both of them going down. Proves Harry was gay.

Seashells on a mountaintop? Guess I'd better stop eating oyster p'boy sandwiches. No telling what they'll take oyster shells in the middle of Texas to be the proof of.
