Ok.... I'm not advancing for any such thing and it wasn't the point of my post at all.

For those who did not understand what RR79 was saying. Putting prayer back in schools will not change anything own it's own, only those who are praying now would actually be the ones still praying. When people talk about putting prayer back in school they are essentially saying this country needs to turn back to God and the moral standards of the Bible. Only this will change things and it should be obvious that this country is headed down the gutter since biblical moral values have been erased from our society. The values start at home not in the schools, we have now seen the results of leaving moral values up to each individual and it is literally killing this country. God will continue to allow such things to happen, why should He stop it, self punishment has always been a good teacher.

God loves those who believe and those who do not and the same goes for me, you have no choice in this matter. That puts the matter of total free will to rest.

What values would those be? It isn't like life was great for everyone involved in the 1800s. We know what happens in theocracies. Europe went through it, and Saudi Arabia's going through it now. Greece is in the shitter, despite being even more christian than America is. Snce when is theocracy the best type of governmental system?

Huh. My experience with people saying we need prayer back in schools is that they (explicitly and are happy to tell you so) want a return to government employees leading other people's children in prayer.
