I suppose if it will limit the drama queen action
I put quotes, around “rights” when referring to gay marriage, because people often throw the word around loosely and without thinking when talking about the subject. Often when asked, they didn’t have any specific rights in mind... it’s just seems to be something people say, to make others look bad, and they can’t support it. As well, I don’t believe that marriage is a right but a privelidge.
And I’m regards to the “gay agenda” o suppose I just mean gay activism.
I’m still not looking to change the subject to these things.
By the way.... why is no one asking why steel said that gay people didn’t have rights and they where not people?

"There remain four irreducible objections to religious faith: that it wholly misrepresents the origins of man and the cosmos, that because of this original error it manages to combine the maximum servility with the maximum of solipsism, that it is both the result and the cause of dangerous sexual repression, and that it is ultimately grounded on wish-thinking." ~Christopher Hitchens, god is not Great

The following people can marry:
Christians

Disabled people
But the only time modern Christians throw a shit fit is when non-cisgendered people want to marry.
Nope, I'm not buying it. It may not stem from hate, but it manifests as it. The distinction is so small, it doesn't matter. "I don't hate you, I just think you're inferior in a certain way, a way which makes me want to prevent you from enjoying the same rights and privileges I currently enjoy" definitely isn't good.
And guess what, the christian concept of marriage only began in 1184. Prior to that marriage was in the gift of one's liege and a purely civil ceremony.

It is sad, that your side resorts to such polemics and rhetoric.
That this conversation; rather than being a civil discourse, was made to be about me defending myself over nothing. The more I look into it, it seems like a lot of the same between Pence / Rippon. I don't find that the extreme views that are put upon Pence are not justified. Just as false views where put on me as soon as I even broached the subject.
I would say that it seems with the LGBT advocates, and this type of thing, check out what they say, and use caution.... it seems they are more about drama and emotional rhetoric than facts or civil discourse.

This right here is the problem with Christians today. And why I have a growing hatred of them. They like to turn things around, and make it sound like they don't really hate LGBT people. They just want to force them into celibacy! And they want to deny them the right to marry their life partners. What's so bad about that? Then in the next voice they cry about people not saying Merry Christmas to them in stores.
Yes, Mike Pence is Anti-LGBT. As are a great number of Christians. They'll pretend otherwise. They'll use their faith as a shield. Much like people used their faith as a shield for racism. "It's just my belief! I'm entitled to my belief!" Sure you are. Doesn't mean you get to force it down everyone else's throat, and fund it with government money. No way, no how. You don't have to support gay marriage, but unless you hate LGBT people there's no reason for you to think it should be banned. I don't care if it upsets your god. If your god wants to set the rules, he can come down here himself and set them in person. Until then, gay people should have a right to marry their partners. And not supporting that DOES make you homophobic. Because your religion doesn't get to dictate what other people do.

If you deny gays have the right to marry . Your anti gay
If you think that gays should not have the same protections as other minorities. Your anti gay
If you try and defound organizations that support gays . Your anti gay
Your deranged notion Road of what constitutes anti gay is pretty damn clear .

And all it proves is that a persons beliefs are Anti LGBT
And no Christianity lost the right to declare what marriage is . And yes saying you support marriage that excludes gays is Anti LGBT . And no don't even start with the slippery slope fallacies.

I don't hate or fear LGBT people. That you cannot accept that seems to be an issue.
It sounds like you may be pushing your hatred and intolerance onto others? I think that there is a lot of issues with reasoning here. but I don't think that any of that justifies mis-represeniting those you oppose.
This seems to be the ugly head of identity politics
