Failing is believing in nothing and quitting. If I don't believe in umbrellas, I'll end up with soaked hair while standing in a puddle, while everybody is dancing around me. If I start with a cheap umbrella that leaks, then I won't get as wet, but next time I'll show up with a better umbrella when it rains. My other option is to do nothing and end up soaked every time it rains. I can say I like it, but nobody will believe me. And such is the saying, "what we sow is what we reap." If we believe in nothing, nobody will believe in us.

Every one is ignoring the actual comment, the ten year pregnancy. It's not possible, why, because Jesus was born before Herod died and that was 4BC, Jesus was born in 6BC and was taken to Egypt before Herod died and returned to Judea soon after Herod died. It doesn't matter which Herod was ruling at the time it only matters that the same Herod was referenced in the story of Jesus birth and first couple of years. Jesus was born nine months after the Holy conception, if He was not then the rest of His life and history would not mesh which it does.

In case you didn't know, Minimalist doesn't believe that a historical Jesus, the basis of Christianity ever existed, the problem is that Ehrman DOES believe he existed, so Min can't use his beloved Ehrman to debunk Jesus, he has to find someone that agrees with his narrative.
As far as Richard Carrier goes, you'd be naive to believe that a guy who was basically begging for money on his blog, and asking for patreon donations would be completely objective when being funded by special interest groups, when you cannot find an example of that anywhere else, be it Politics or Religion.
