Well, to be fair, it is the only plank on his platform that he has consistently supported throughout his campaign.

Because democrats don't try to rig elections?

- Democrats pay retired British M16 agent, Richard Steele, GPS Fusion to generate a dossier on a Trump-Russia connection.  Steele, of course, ran the Russia desk out of M16 in London until he retried.
- DNC sabotages Hillary Clinton rival Bernie Sanders and forces him out of their primary.  Over 20,000 e-mails were hacked by Wikileaks and made public, including e-mails from DNC officials discussing using the media to derail the Sander's campaign.
- Broward County election supervisor, Brenda Snipes, "misplaced" more than 2000 ballots during Florida 2018 general election.  Why she was even in charge of Broward County in 2018 is disturbing after the mess from 2016 when the same person had a ruling against her for violating the Florida Constitution and illegally destroying ballots.

Which point are you disputing?

I don't know that I watch either of what you suggested.

Democrats didn't rig anything at all. I remember however, up until the orange turd lucking out with the electoral college, claiming countless times that the election was rigged for the democrats during his run.

Just like the turd constantly says "fake news". He is a liar and a con.

The shut down could be explained as:

The United States will not have any government if it can not have an inhuman scapegoating government that panders to nativist low lifes who uses the flag as security blanket to protect themselves from fresh blood who are willing to work harder than they.

Lots of jobs even when I had one that I was not willing to do. I don't understand why anyone would object to others having jobs you don't want.

Even outside immigration, having worked in retail and food service, having cleaned toilets and dish washing, I really hate jerks whom look down on those who do those things. There is nothing wrong with an honest job. So my attitude is, don't say crap if one is not willing to do it themselves, someone has to do it.

It's a combination of Trump thrashing around wildly for a distraction while Mueller is reeling him in over his treason (I think even your man currently acting as AG knows there's no way to save Trump, otherwise the anti-Mueller putsch he was installed to run would have happened by now) and the far right neo nazi media (Fox, Breitbart et al) calling him chicken over his pre Christmas compromise on the budget, and him proving them right by caving to their demands.

There's that word again.

Mueller can't reel in Trump for treason.  Trump hasn't committed treason.  It isn't possible for Trump to have committed treason.

He may not have committed treason if we want to be pedantic.  But it certainly is possible for trump to commit treason at least in theory, because, at least in theory, L’etat, C’nest pas trump.

Of course it's possible for him to commit treason. But it isn't possible for him to have committed treason.  Nothing 'pedantic' about it.  Treason is a very specific offense, and the conditions haven't existed in which that offense can take place.

Whether trump could have committed treason to a large degree depend on interpretation of the word “enemies”.   If the interpretation is broad, then trump can fry, or preferable end in a manner much much more prolonged and continuously unpleasant.

Actually, 'enemies' is legally defined (as regards treason), so there isn't a lot of room for interpretation.

But don't get me wrong - Trump is an absolutely vile, corrupt president, and few things would make me happier than to see him frog-marched out of office. But treason?  Nope, not yet.
