Title of the thread, "Trump's base possibly growing"

Or am I hallucinating?

No it is not.

What is happening is his marketing is working, that in turn can and does cause otherwise decent people in middle America to make excuses for the asshole.

My late mother was a lifetime GOP voter for the most part. She was not a bigot, but she was born in an age of far more bigotry in a time when whites were far more dominate. She never saw herself as a bigot. But she did have an ignorance of history and ignorance of economic inequality, and had an over simplistic view of race relations and how economics effect different demographics disproportionately.

So again, if the title of your thread is suggesting bigotry is growing, IT IS NOT.

I'd only agree it can, and will if you keep ignoring what I am telling you.

Read the fucking article about Trump's base growing among Hispanics. No one said that bigotry is growing, clown.

And as far as appealing to Spanish speaking humans, it does not surprise me that he can appeal to conservative Spanish speaking migrants. Cubans historically move here and vote republican as a majority. But Puerto Ricans hate the fucker.

It still remains that between the two parties right now, democrats have a larger tent.

No one said anything about Spanish speaking communities, you racist fucktard. The article talks about two thirds of Latino voters being born here. And yes, Cubans voting Republican is nothing new.

We're talking about his support among Latinos growing.  That's incredibly bad news if the trend continues.

Trump has black supporters too dumbass.

Not the fucking point.

I have seen this doge before.

Politico may be well intended in it's "warning" but it is wrong headed and misleading.

Humans can be convinced to vote against their own self interests. Miami's poor Cubans vote for morons like Rubio. That is not impossible, but that still does not mean bigotry is growing. It just means humans in general can buy the bad arguments politicians sell them.

"Trump's base" was the title of the thread.

There are also log cabin republicans too.

I'd argue his base isn't growing in as much that GOP voters get sold "The American Dream" as in, " everyone can all wipe their asses with $100 dollar bills. But he is no Reagan, he is no JFK or Obama. He still has a core base of asshole bigots I'd warn any minority, black or Hispanic or Gay or Jewish not to fall for.

Is Trump's support growing in the black community? If it is, then that would be relevant to the point.

What is relevant is that the "base" ultimately are a majority of middle America rust belt and rural white anxiety.

To say blacks or Spanish speaking migrants, or gays can and do support the GOP misses the point.

He is not "growing" in any meaningful historic context that leads to economic equality or racial equality. He is simply conning people.

This article is easily dismissed by the fact that a black man defied the odds and beat wealth TWICE.

So the real issue is how do you convince EVEN WHITE RURAL voters that they are fucking themselves?

I'd say the recent realization that your tax return will either be smaller, or you will have to write a check.

THAT is how you defeat the orange asshole bully.

RE: Trump's Base is Possibly Growing
So, does anyone have any ideas about why Trump's popularity seems to be growing with Latino voters? I have a few ideas. One is that they might be turned off by how little coverage Julian Castro is getting after he declared. But I don't think that is it. Honestly, I think it's the libtards. The libtards are turning off voters all over the place. They are screaming down anyone who doesn't one hundred percent agree with them on social issues that Latinos tend to be a little more conservative about. It has become such a turn off that some Latinos are crossing over to Trump.

YES, RELIGION.

For the same reason Israel is currently run by a Jewish Dick Cheney. It isn't that the majority of Israeli citizens agree with everything Bibi does. It is more to the fact he appeals to their fears.

I have often argued with white conservatives here in America why they hate Hispanic migrants south of the border when the vast majority are Christians like them.

And please stop claiming you voted for Obama if you are going to keep calling the voters who put him in office TWICE "libtards".

If you really did vote for him, then blame yourself for putting him in office. Because liberals did put him in office TWICE.

Cant have it both ways. Cant vilify liberals after admitting you voted for Obama.

Libtards aren't liberals, Bwian.  I'm a liberal. You're a libtard.

So I suggested that the reason that support might be growing for Trump among Latinos is that they have been turned off by libtards shrieking over some social issues that Latinos are a bit more conservative with. Bwian immediately attacked Latinos for being religious and started blathering about Israel.

It seems that Bwian agrees that it is his sort of shrieking that has been alienating Latinos and causing them to shift toward Trump.

1. I support LGBT equality.
2. I support Colin Kaepernick's right to kneel
3. I recognize that inequality in economics and justice harms minorities on average more than whites.
4. I support reproductive rights and female body autonomy. Men can go fuck themselves if they think they have a say.
5. I also welcome ANY legal or even undocumented migrant from Cuba or Mexico or Central or South America, REGARDLESS OF PAPERS as long as they are not violent, which most ARE NOT.

What you really mean by "libtard" is that you cant stand someone disagreeing with you.

I am as liberal is anyone can get. Sorry it bothers you that I won't blindly kiss your ass, but I am a liberal.

And as far as Israel, I didn't pick on all Jews, I simply don't like Bibi, the individual. Just like saying I hate Trump does not mean I hate all Americans.
