I cannot understand this tribal mentality of heritage being so all fired important.

This sort of attitude is one of the major problems with the world, with people avenging the death of their great gradfathers who were killed by someone avenging the death of ............and so on.

Just let it go and deal with whats in front of you.

I know not of my heritage and dont really care.

He's right, Mehmet. Make another thread either about heritages, or just about the history of your own - we have a couple historians here who I'm sure would be more than happy to take you up on it. Many people on this board have interesting family backgrounds.

It seems a person touting the make belief advantages of an imaginary pure blood or culture heritage is very unlikely to have any use for real history. He is in it to make himself feel good, not to discover that he is nothing special.
