Lol OLB points to ONE instance of a mass shooter being stopped by a civilian and boasts that as proof of something. Proceeds to ignore all the ones where no such thing occurred. Then accuses us of being selective and partisan 
Also, anyone could be a mass shooter the absurd idea of good guys and bad guys does not play out in reality.
Also spewing the mythology that shooters pick their targets due to a lack of guns

Indiana got rid of the requirement to get a permit to carry as of July 1.
The 22 year old man had no.permit and no training and he took down a monster - reportedly with a 9mm Glock handgun at 50 YARDS.....
That' s some damned fine shooting.
Half the length of a football field and he took the cocksucker down with his first shot.
I am impressed.

And how is running background checks on people who have passed background checks dozens or hundreds of times before an efficient or cost effective use of lawvenforcement resources???
Good point, how -is- that an efficient use of police resources? It isn't, but it only exists as waste because people insist on arming themselves to the teeth and so, check after check has to be done as a matter of prudent process. Meanwhile, most gun crime is committed by people who would -not- pass a background check. Which is why they buy their pistols peer to peer, aggressively, to the point that a single firearm can end up in trace data across multiple locations and between multiple offenders.
