Funny how some people stick their nose up the law enforcement asshole when the LEO community does something they see as positive....
The rest of the time they just bitch about cops being stone insane murderers who just want to pull over black men and kill them ..... Some departments do the by back thing because it is good PR with the public in that area (read - very blue). Other departments will tell you ( just like me) that it is a waste of resources and taxpayer dollars. You' re a liar if you claim all departments buy into the bullshit. It's almost as if law enforcement is full of shitty people but those shitty people can have accurate data on guns and sometimes do something right like gun exchanges and hold correct opinions about its effectiveness. But that's not possible apparently.....
 And as if we're going to take your word on anything gun related without seeing some actual evidence
