Well, according to the Flat Earth Theory, the Sun makes a full circle (360 degrees) per day, while the Moon makes 347 degrees per day.

Ah, you are using that as an argument against the Flat Earth Theory? Well, according to the Flat Earth Theory, the stars are circling around the Polaris, making an almost-full-circle (around 359 degrees) every day.
So the flat disc is NOT spinning?

No, it isn't.

No, it isn't. Good
Now Melbourne and Cape Town are 8h/time zones distant from each other. In Winter (on the southern ...erm outer part of the disc) it can be dark in both places, right? What will people in Melbourne and Cape Town see, when they look at the same time? Will they see the same constellation of stars maybe (pick one near the horizon)?..if so, what direction do have both to look at?

So they'll share the same space at some point. Interesting.

No, the Sun is obviously farther away from us than the Moon is (as Solar eclipses make it obvious).

This isn't real. This isn't a real thread on these forums. FlatAssembler is just playing devils advocate. He doesn't think the earth is flat. Nobody here thinks that.

What i am talking about is basic trigonometry.
If Earth is a globe vs Earth being a disk is fundamentally different, particularly near the south pole. Of course most people focus on the norhtern hemisphere, because an overwhelming amjority lives there.
Yet, based on osservations, the glaring difference in the resulting geometry when looking at the sky (between sitting on the outer part of the disc vs sitting on the bottom of a ball) will tell you if the Earth is a globe or a disc. But i am certain that flat earthers will just ignore this like anything else.
I know Flat Assembler is not a flat earther, i was just trying to show him how to lead one.....one that is not either a troll or completely ignorant.

But you should be able to see the Sun and Moon both in the sky at the same time, all the time.
