Who are more moral? Men or women?

While its quite easy to jump on the faulty logic that mens morals > womens morals because GOD there is something to be said for it.
However, its clearly the wrong way around. Men are far more likely to commit crime than women. Sociologists have known it for a long long time, crime and deviance is far more likely in men than women. Rather than any physical differences (although I wouldn't rule it out), men are socialised towards risk, toughness and physicality. Lots of interesting studies on the matter. So the question is; all the evidence points towards men being more immoral than women....... whats your evidence for the opposite? Oh.. Bible plus Anecdote equals Fact. How could it possibly be wrong.

The traditional view is that women were put in a state of punishment for the original sin. The christian faith has perpetrated some of the worst denigration of women throughout history. EDIT: Arguments that morality is equivalent between the sexes does defy the statistics, but the reasoning is unlikely to be purely physical, but in terms of social upbringing.
