It's possible to save a couple of steps if, after selecting the part you want, you then crop the image rather than copy/paste into a new document. Either way works just as well, though, and you may find advantages in one over the other. As in most things, YMMV.

Indeed.... MSPaint in XP didn't have this crop function... did it?

I can't remember that far back, though it's such a basic function I'd be surprised if it didn't. On the other hand, this is Microsoft we're talking about.

At least the British did not need a stupid civil war to put the slavery issue to rest.

Probably.

But I believe Biblical slavery more closely resembled indentured servitude, which was found in early Colonial America as well. Only difference was a slave had to leave his family after his time was finished if he wanted to remain free in Biblical times....if he wanted to stay with the family he created under his servitude, he would have to pledge to be with his owner indefinitely. Guess the society was not as big on family as the Christians like to believe....then again, divorce and multiple spouses (and concubines) was acceptable under Jewish law (that whole you shall not divorce thing and single spouse belief did not come around until Jesus' time).

But the rebels had all this bible shit backing them up, Polaris..... Your god doesn't seem to have any problem with slavery.
