…
Whoah there buddy, that matters very little, what matters is whether or not you think it's a compelling reason to dislike chocolate..not whether it's subjective or objective. Now you’re clearly being disingenuous.
Check out post 250, in which you bolded subjective in reference to chocolate/vanilla. Now it doesn't matter whether it's objective or subjective.

I think a better title for this thread would be "Christians worship a being that promotes rape, torture, slavery, and genocide".

It's no longer a subjective opinion.
But hey, NP. So where do we stand now? Questioning assumptions is not to be entertained (it's not on target and the OP didn't do it). We cannot determine whether or not someones opinion is incorrect. Boy, sounds like fruitful grounds for discussion in conjuction with our short memories.

There's the genocide of two continents worth of natives, thousands murdered in official Inquisitions (and how many thousands more in the various less organized hunts for 'heresy' since the beginning), centuries of blood-soaked Crusades, decades of blood-soaked sectarian warfare in Europe, centuries of African slavery, the subjugation of Africa in colonial times and the continued subjugation of Africa through Christian practices which promote diseases which kill millions, the physical brutalization of men, women, children, non-white races, homosexuals and intellectuals, the persistent Christian war against science which has stifled innovation and progress in its domain by hundreds of years, the Christian resistance to racial equality, gender equality, sexual equality, children murdered by faith-healer parents, churches spending millions making pretty buildings while children starve to death around them, the systemic Catholic rape of boys, the indoctrination of millions of children with blood-soaked fairy tales and the mental and emotional harm that comes with it...
A net evil? What do you guys even do which is good? Run soup kitchens and clothing drives? Babysit kids for free on Sundays?

It doesn't, if the area of contention is whether or not it is compelling. My opinion that vanilla is better than chocolate remains subjective doesn't it (or would you like to maintain that vanilla is now objectively better than chocolate?). My reason was compelling, so you said then, and your claim was what.......would you like to say it or should I link the various times you've made it, including in your explanation for calling my remarks desperate as a way of dismissing them. This is a waste of my time, and that's pretty sad, considering that it appears to have been a way to avoid even addressing my criticism in the first place. Great, now my time has been doubly wasted.

I'm not claiming that Christianity is a net good. How could you possibly quantify that? But atheists, who tend to claim that they only believe based on evidence, usually believe that it's a net evil, despite not being able to quantify it.

Which you acknowledged I provided you with. Making your comments about desperation another layer in the midden heap your responses have been erecting.
Anything to avoid addressing a position for which you have no response. Anything to avoid elaborating upon some thrilling claim you may make in passing.

Speaking of desperation, now you're lying about what I acknowledged.

Here, I was, as I often do, assuming the reality of God to make a point, which is summed up in the title of the thread. The point is valid regardless of whether God is real or not.

I think the only problem here is that, as a believer, you do not agree with my assertion that these Heavenly-inspired acts are wrong or evil. Your dogma indeed demands that you view them as good and righteous.
Feel free to give examples which disagree with my bias. And let's not forget that a biased assertion is by no means an incorrect assertion.

I'm sorry that I can't actually provide an exact body count. Surely, that incapacity voids the entire point.
