I don't believe in Sod's/Murphy's law, however, that slight chance for something to go wrong is where I stop and fix whatever it is. Such as taking a chance on a question in a homework assignment rather than looking for the answer.

I assume I'll get it wrong either be satisfied with the chance or correct it.

Murphy's Law:
There is a 50% chance that things will go wrong - and nine times out of ten it does.
