It may not be true that, in general, atheists are lacking in intelligence and knowledge, but that does not necessarily imply that you and your atheism specifically are not a result of stupidity and rebellion. The fact that you're an atheist doesn't necessarily mean that you're not a twat.)

I turned 45 last week, so I'm almost at the halfway point. Deconverted at some point over the past ten years, realized it for sure a couple of years ago.

Turned 44 just the other week (by the way, Min and Tonus, happy birthday - you kept that quiet!). I'd like to say I've been an atheist my whole adult life but I'll have to get back to you when I grow up.
