I live my life as if it doesn't matter, because it doesn't. Either I actually have the ability to subtly alter the progression of events, or I don't, but my ability to trace events backwards (and to use that model as a predictive tool) is so limited that apparently random events are, in a practical sense, actually random for me.

Sorry but we wont live to see that, sending humanity to the stars right now would be like sending a 4 year old to walmart alone.

Every time you get the warm fuzzies from doing what you think Jesus wants for you, your brain is getting "high" on neurotransmitters. The pleasure you get from being a good little sheep is a neuro-chemical reward, and without it, pleasing Jesus would mean nothing to you. Your pious charade is nothing more than a self-serving attempt to stimulate the pleasure centers of your brain.

That's only an opinion, why, because sometimes working for God brings on suffering and hardship for the physical body, so your fuzzy just went up in smoke.
