6. Makes it also easier to forget what the NSA is doing and how liberties of Americans are being violated increasingly
7. Makes It easier to forget the Taliban was created with is help, bin laden was a CIA agent "orginally, or that UK instilled the Baathist regime in Iraq of saddam. Or that UK helped Saud family take power ( see treaty of Jeddah 1927)
8. Also easy to forget who's funding these Al Qaeda rebels in syria fighting the government ( UK, France, Saudi, Qatar, us)

9. all these things can be conveniently put aside if you just want to maintain the status who in your mind and maintain your own version of reality. But there are many who refuse to remain ignorant.

Why is it that when people mention the atrocities done in the name of Islam, the so-called "moderate Muslims" never, ever try to explain how they believe those people aren't truly following Islam, but instead they try to blame the problem on the West and claim it's trying to demonize Islam? If you don't like the West's media coverage of Islam, perhaps you should be blaming the people that are out there slaughtering innocents in the name of your precious god, rather than pathetically pointing the finger at the people that rightfully talk about how many followers of Islam are guilty of human rights violations.

No one is responsible for Islam's image problem except for the assholes that carry out rape and murder in its name. But of course, the moderates never seem to want to address that. I wonder why that is?

Well, there's the problem. There's a contradiction. In The Repentance, Allah explicitly states that polytheists should be killed for being "infidels" for no apparent reason. Why is Allah bothered by the presence of other gods when He knows that He's the only true god?

Or is perhaps whats going on in syria 2 is sects of peaceful muslims peacefully sorting out their reasonable differences in a progressive and forward looking manner while the western media merely PORTRAYS it as a bunch of backwards bloodthirsty C**ts murdering each other by the thousand to prove that their way of following allah is the most peaceful.

I happen to agree, for the most part. I can't imagine having to grow up an orphan. But your last sentence puzsles me; why isn't it enough to say that stealing from orphans (or indeed from anyone worse off than yourself) is an awful thing to do regardless of what your or anyone's religion says? Are you saying that if Islam didn't mention it, there would be nothing to stop you from stealing from orphans?

And just as with my earlier post to which I eagerly await a response, why do you need a book to tell you the difference between what is right and what is wrong? Is that the only thing keeping you from doing these things? If not, why do you still cling to the book?
