You know...that's the thing about miracles. When we read the narratives we're told to accept a whopper. A miracle. But the miracle on the page is small potatoes compared to the uncountable number of miracles required to make it happen. The deluge would be a miracle...but only a footnote in the long litany of miracles that must have preceded and then followed it. The sun stopping in the sky so that some douche could effectively dry gulch his enemies...yeah...so the earth just standing still....think about all the miracles that must be going on right there. The list is almost endless....
But all we're supposed to be amazed by, gape jawed - praise god - drop to our knees and hallelujah!.....is some rinky dink shit about rain and an ambush?

For that matter, why bother at all with an ark? If blinking every living thing into existence by magic was so easy to do the first time, why not go that route again? Perhaps consider a couple of upgrades?

Or just move on to another planet! This god supposedly made the countless worlds in the observable universe, and he's so very moral such that he's the only way we know that killing is bad, so why not skip the genocide altogether, fuck off and leave Earth alone, and try again on a new playing field?
