Christianity makes women 2nd class citizens. So she is telling christians to stop being christians.
Not all Christians believe what the Bible says. The subjugation of women to men has absolutely nothing to do with Christianity. Christianity is a position of faith, not actions.
I'm sure Christians would take offense to your statement about "God's written word" that they didn't read.

By saying they should be in their book.

Where does the Bible say that women should be 2nd class citizens?

There’s nothing in either of those articles that points out where the Bible says women should be 2nd class citizens.

Really!

Women being treated as property (being spoils of war for example) doesn't make them 2nd class citizens. Women have to be silent in church, while men don't have to be.

You really can't see it?!

Are you seriously a christian? It honestly sounds like you've never even looked at the Bible. I'm going to post a bible quote that has already been posted on this thread. I suggest you read it this time:

I do not permit a woman to teach or to exercise authority over a man; rather, she is to remain quiet.
1 Timothy 2:12

Women not being allowed to exercise any authority over a man - sounds like the christian book saying they shouldn't be getting equal treatment with men i.e should be 2nd class citizens.

Then there's Genesis 3:16, where god says that a woman's husband will rule over her.

Damn, I must have forgotten to read the disclaimer!

Yes, really, this is my serious face….

Not sure where you’re getting the property thing from or the “spoils of war”. What did they do to the men from the defeated side after the war?

I read it the first time.

Quote: I do not permit a woman to teach or to exercise authority over a man; rather, she is to remain quiet.
1 Timothy 2:12

In verse 8 men are not allowed to express anger or quarrel, does this mean that they are 2nd class citizens to women in the Bible? Having rules for different genders does not demonstrate a view that one is inferior to the other.

Quote: Women not being allowed to exercise any authority over a man - sounds like the christian book saying they shouldn't be getting equal treatment with men i.e should be 2nd class citizens.
No, that’s only within the Church, and Paul gives the reason for it, women are more easily deceived in spiritual matters than men are. I am not allowed to be a Girl Scout leader, does that mean that the Girl Scouts view men as 2nd class citizens? Give me a break.

Quote: Then there's Genesis 3:16, where god says that a woman's husband will rule over her.

Yes, and the same passage says that men will have to work the earth in hard labor for minimal food. It is funny how you leave out all of the passages where hardship rules are given that pertain only to men.
