None of that applies to what those atheists are doing. You're attaching the supernatural parts of those definitions to people who clearly don't believe in any of that shit.

Ah then the following are worship with celebration and or reverence: any kind of patriotism (pledge of allegiance anyone), building dedications, celebration of most secular holidays including Christopher Columbus Day and Veterans Day, birthday celebrations, graduation celebrations, retirement banquets---I could go on. Congratulations, you just made the word worship meaninglessly broad. In fact I thing you take part in much unauthorized worship. Your gonna have problems with the ten commandments.

Not surprising really since praise, worship, and even idol have secular as well as religious meanings.

Dunno know about you, I worship trees on Arbor Day.
