Last I checked, Trump was the one running on the conservative ticket. You seem to be expecting something from him that you have no reason to assume would even be possible.

I doubt that, strongly.  I think they'd be ashamed of the ticket. If they aren't or wouldn't be, you could always refer them here to have it explained to them at length. Trumps troubles have -nothing- to do with his party affiliation (nor, to be fair, do Hillary's).
