You can repeat a million times you don't see God, won't make God disappear for people's vision, you can say Theists have no proof, won't make it true, you can deny the objectivity of morality, won't make it not binding on you, could try to disconnect the sacred link between us and God, won't disconnect us,  you can deny every reasoning and proof, won't make it go away.

And you can mock proofs all you want, won't make them weak because of that.

And you can call to passions when reminded of God, doesn't make the a iota of atom's worth compared to God.

I believe in Islam.  It exists.  There is conclusive proof for this everywhere.

What I don't believe is Islam's message.

You don't believe but it has nothing to do with it not being proven. It has been proven.

You simply don't believe because you don't want to.

See, I could say the same about the Jedi religion.

The problem is, it wouldn't be any more or less true than what you have stated.

The religion exists.

The mythology exists.

That doesn't mean that the mythology is real and claiming that it has been proved is nonsense.

And I'll be more polite than I usually am when people try to tell me what I think or what my motives are.

Please don't try to speak for me.  I'm a big girl and I know my own mind.  I know what I believe and what I don't.

I don't need anyone telling me what I think.  And no one could, because mind readers are fictional, too.

Maybe... and this is just an idea... you should do something other than make claims. Evidence convinces me. Claims do not.

Or are you not actually trying to convince me of anything? Are you just here to make yourself feel better?

That, MK, is an utterly despicable, rude, presumptuous, and false thing to say.

Yes stating things have been proven doesn't mean they have? What's new?

But stating things haven't been proven doesn't mean anything either.

And coming to a thread and simply saying you don't believe, means what, when you don't address the content? You wanted approval, but I am 100% sure you don't believe has nothing to do with Islam not being proven.

I am certain God didn't let his friends without leadership from amongst his chosen friends so that they be at the mercy of deceivers and that deceivers would be at equal footing in calling to their path as his lovers.

He provides guidance so who wants to may live by clear proof and those who perish may do so despite of clear proof.

This thread IS NOT ABOUT proofs of God.

So if you going to go that route, go ahead, but it's about proofs of Islam when that is taken for granted. (proofs of God has been provided in many different threads).

Yeah I am the one making claims..and not providing evidence. I am the one coming to a forum to make myself reassured by people of my stance. Right....

You sure you not talking to the mirror?

You've made a lot. From morality not being objective, from value not being objective, from God not being manifest to humans, to proofs that are sound proving nothing, etc....

That you truly don't know you have a soul.

The discussion we get to you guys have little sincerity in reaching conclusions, but just want to away with premises in any way possible even if goes against everything you know about yourself.

I backed both of those up. All you've done is made big claims of the opposite without providing sound reasoning.

I never made that claim. I've only said that you haven't provided any evidence to back up your claims about it.

That's not a claim.

Sincerity doesn't make something true. Try providing evidence instead of just claims. Do you actually care what I believe? There's only one way to convince me, and you're not doing it. You're just throwing a tantrum because I don't agree with you.
