You explain that tea and booze aren't in the same drink category and booze is actually rather bad for the person drinking it. He then attacks you for being "closed minded" about booze.
You can see where this is going, right?

Tea shop? Bad comparison because drinking alcohol is better than tea. Where as being an Atheist is better in every possible way. It's more like someone came in and tried to convince you to drink liquid shit.

They work hard to convince us that the tea is bad, and will never satisfy us. Also when they give us beer, and we turn away the bitter taste, they say just keep drinking until you convince yourself that it tastes good, and that sweet tasting tea is evil.

I prefer to think of it as someone trying to infect me with a parasite which sucks all my time, money and thoughts.
Or a junkie trying to convince me to get high.

I wake up, lying on the floor in a vast room, surrounded by other sleepers as far as I can see.
I've been asleep for a while but some of these people are old. From the dust that has settled around them I get the impression that most of these people have never even stirred.
I spend hours trying to wake the sleepers up.
Most are comatose, some groggily open their eyes only to fall back into slumber, while others lash out, giving me the impression they're only half asleep.
None awaken.
I realise they can only awaken on their own, as I did.
Sunlight hits me. It's coming from a door with an exit sign above.
I can see the shapes of people, people who are awake.
With a tinge of excitement I walk towards the exit.
