They tax the media companies that form the press-- does that obstruct the press?

I was wondering. Out of the hundreds of thousands "charitable" churches around the nation, how many actually engage in charity. I suspect most are just riding the wagon.
You make people miserable and there's nothing they can do about it, just like god.

God has no place within these walls, just as facts have no place within organized religion.

Science is like a blabbermouth who ruins a movie by telling you how it ends. There are some things we don't want to know. Important things.

I think that filing the forms and adhering to the same rules as other nonprofits would actually help the honest churches that really do want to help others like Jesus commanded. Christians would have more information on which church to join. It seems like a win/win situation for them so I don't know why Christians themselves don't call for taxing churches. My guess is that they never thought of it because their pastors and church councils certainly aren't going to advance the idea.

You keep asking for citations for conclusions of arguments made. Citations are for facts supporting an argument....not conclusions of said argument.

One point that hasn't been addressed is the fact that I subsidize your church through taxation. If churches were required to pay taxes, my tax burden would be lessened. The government must collect x amount of dollars to provide essential services. By exempting churches, those dollars must be made up by increasing the tax burden on everybody else. Ergo, I am subsidizing your church!

God allowed 200,000 people to die in an earthquake. So what makes you think he cares about YOUR problems?
