I am sorry you are going through this, I have a 15 year old, he doesn't want to do anything he considers a waste of time. The internet is the windshield wipers for such bullshit on the window it will take a awhile but its guaranteed to work.

Its not really by religion its more or less good bye good riddance barbaric religions and well here are the peaceful ones now i guess.

Sure, make up some flowery spiritual religions with nice happy books without rape and maiming in them.

I wonder if people are actually drawn to the rape and maiming though. When I suggested once taking slavery endorsement out of the bible, the christians took great offense.

To the original poster. You should try to outdo them at their own game. Examples of this are, bring some snakes in the church to handle them. Encourage others in the church to handle the snakes and allow them to bite them. When they refuse to participate challenge their faith. Other examples would be, shout out strange sounds while flopping around on the floor. You could also foam at the mouth. You could accomplish this with a little piece of Alka-Seltzer. Always think of new inventive ways about doing them at their own game. After a while they will probably decide that you need a little less church in your life.

Right. Point out all the commandments from God they are not following. How many people do they stone to death for working on Sunday? Do they let women speak in church? Do they wear cloths of more than one fibre?
