Clearly hell is eternal punishment. I could go on, there are many more verses making this clear, but I don't care to shit up this thread with quotes from the Bible. You can go read your own holy book, and then if you wish to discuss it return to this conversation, because you clearly haven't read it thoroughly and digested its import, nor has Lek, and nor has any Christian who thinks that Hell is not an eternal punishment.

He wants us to choose to be with him. Your choices are to become what someone else wants you to become, and worship them forever, or possibly be roasted for eternity, or wallow in the worst that Human society has ever had to offer. One extreme, or the other. You pick.

Hmmm. Problem is, I've got an infinite number of possible gods all wanting me to choose to be with them, and none of them communicating it adequately. All I got is gibberish that was obviously written by some messed up people.
I'll be going to infinite number of hells, instead of infinite minus 1, or something. Doesn't matter much at that point.
If I got a pet, and gave him a little test and he failed, pretty sure I wouldn't roast him forever.

You have three groups of abrahamic religions, with their own denominations, and that's not even counting the other active religions out there. Someone's going to have t step up their game if they want me to dedicate my life to them.
