On September 30 Peter Dutton MP cancelled the visa of Troy Newman under section 128 of the Migration Act 1958 following a request from Terri Butler MP. Dutton made it clear that his presence was not welcome as it would threaten the health, safety or good order of the Australian community (Migr 1958 sect. 116.1.e.i).
Newman then booked another flight to LA, and subsequently boarded his international flight, despite his visa being revoked. He was detained on arrival. He then wasted the High Court of Melbourne's time by appealing - the court made it clear he had no grounds on which to appeal after illegally entering our country, and he was promptly sent back to the cesspit he came from.
Quote:"Acting as he did means he does not come to this court with clean hands," (Justice Nettle) said.
In a statement, Immigration Minister Peter Dutton said he had instructed the department to "expedite" Mr Newman's removal from Australia.
"Any person who enters Australia without a valid visa and does not have a lawful basis to remain in Australia is expected to depart," he said.
"His detention and removal is entirely related to his decision to openly flout Australian law and travel to Australia without a valid visa."
Ugh... that video is appalling. He deliberately tried to make "Christians are being persecuted" propaganda after trying to travel illegally.
What a douchebag.
He really is a sick person, in charge of a group of psychotic radicals. Only Tony Perkins's "Family Research Council" (and of course, the Westboro Baptist jerks) comes close.
When I was living in Kansas, Newman's organization, Operation Rescue, quite literally inspired one of his devotees, Scott Roeder, to execute an abortion providing doctor at Sunday church service, in Wichita.

A Christian told me: if you were saved you cant lose your salvation. you're sealed with the Holy Ghost
I replied: Can I refuse? Because I find the entire concept of vicarious blood sacrifice atonement to be morally abhorrent, the concept of holding flawed creatures permanently accountable for social misbehaviors and thought crimes to be morally abhorrent, and the concept of calling something "free" when it comes with the strings of subjugation and obedience perhaps the most morally abhorrent of all... and that's without even going into the history of justifying genocide, slavery, rape, misogyny, religious intolerance, and suppression of free speech which has been attributed by your own scriptures to your deity. I want a refund. I would burn happily rather than serve the monster you profess to love.
