It's all ridiculous. If I was going to make up a religion, I would make it more believable; something that made more sense and wouldn't get you persecuted or killed for believing it. What I can't figure out is how so many people were drawn to a religion that professed a God that was such an evil monster.

Thankfully the worst of your God's monstrosities are reserved for the outsiders. It's almost as if you think Christians have a monopoly on bat shit crazy. Except that it's actually just the largest fish in a very crowded pond. And putting aside the obvious analogy with fish intelligence, we all know how poorly most of them do outside the water.
