QFT although pretty much any member of the god squad would suffice.
CofE primary school + zealous head teacher who liked to pontificate and preach to us = an entire class of atheists.
Our local CofE primary which my nephew attends had the wonderful Christian idea of donating bob hats, gloves and scarves to the homeless. My nephew who is 7 years of age asked me why the church didn't open up at night so they could sleep there. I advised him to ask the vicar..

Evidence of how beneficial it is to teach children how to think as opposed to what to think.
I recall my classmates and I at a slightly older age wondering why the good news version of the bible we had at school (clearly aimed at children based on the artwork of the front cover) depicted mass murder of the flood as good news?

I think I always was one (even when I was a kid/church attendee), but Evangelicals pushed me right over the edge.

I never became an atheist; I've been one since I was able to consider the question. The whole god thing just never made any sense, especially the all-loving god that would torture you if you didn't love him back.

When I was ~ 7 years old we attended a family reunion. I think there were more preachers than laypeople there. They actually set up a tent for a "family revival". This was our cue to fade away.

Not an atheist, but I left Christianity because I saw how all these fucked up people act. How could I believe in a god with such shitty followers?

Maybe god really is a dick, and they're doing it right? I don't know why people reject that out of hand.
I am the Infantry. I am my country’s strength in war, her deterrent in peace. I am the heart of the fight… wherever, whenever. I carry America’s faith and honor against her enemies. I am the Queen of Battle. I am what my country expects me to be, the best trained Soldier in the world. In the race for victory, I am swift, determined, and courageous, armed with a fierce will to win. Never will I fail my country’s trust. Always I fight on…through the foe, to the objective, to triumph overall. If necessary, I will fight to my death. By my steadfast courage, I have won more than 200 years of freedom. I yield not to weakness, to hunger, to cowardice, to fatigue, to superior odds, For I am mentally tough, physically strong, and morally straight. I forsake not, my country, my mission, my comrades, my sacred duty. I am relentless. I am always there, now and forever. I AM THE INFANTRY! FOLLOW ME!

Worshiping a shitty god makes you a shitty person.
That's why I believe that if there's something out there, it's not really interested in what we do.

The older I got, the more I thought about what was really in the bible. I asked myself if I really approved of a lot of the things that happened within, and the answer was no. Of course some people will argue that "god doesn't need your approval", but if I worship him then I'm basically saying everything he did was fine, and I find no fault in it. After speaking with other people who don't believe in gods, or don't believe in my god, I eventually just renounced religion entirely.
