Actually, last year...or two years ago, I registered on christianforums and then got banned for doing something that went against their stupid rules... I can live with it.
This year, I came here.
On both accounts, my purpose is to find out what kind of arguments theists can come up with to defend their faith in the existence of gods... something that I find no reason whatsoever to accept as real.
Of course, I am completely aware that the odds of a theist reading something on a forum and coming towards the atheist POV are somewhat close to zero. So that is not my goal here...
However, I do try to present my own POV when I find someone else presenting a POV which goes against my own.
As you may have noticed, I do my best to avoid any discussion that involves arguing against a particular holy book.
First, because I don't any of them that well.
Secondly, because I'm aware that they were all written by humans. And they all make some rather extraordinary claims, leaving me appalled at how many people buy into that... but I'm also aware that indoctrination is the large responsible for that so it's not most people's fault... It's whoever started the indoctrination trend, hundreds or thousands of years ago.
