Nope not yet. I telegraphed the internet company, they said it would be another few years til they can get phone lines over here.

People aren't likely to answer in the negative when a random phone call asks them the analog of "do you believe in god" regardless. I'd be peering out my curtains with a gun in my hand if I ever got such a phone call.
I am the Infantry. I am my country’s strength in war, her deterrent in peace. I am the heart of the fight… wherever, whenever. I carry America’s faith and honor against her enemies. I am the Queen of Battle. I am what my country expects me to be, the best trained Soldier in the world. In the race for victory, I am swift, determined, and courageous, armed with a fierce will to win. Never will I fail my country’s trust. Always I fight on…through the foe, to the objective, to triumph overall. If necessary, I will fight to my death. By my steadfast courage, I have won more than 200 years of freedom. I yield not to weakness, to hunger, to cowardice, to fatigue, to superior odds, For I am mentally tough, physically strong, and morally straight. I forsake not, my country, my mission, my comrades, my sacred duty. I am relentless. I am always there, now and forever. I AM THE INFANTRY! FOLLOW ME!

Yeah man. Especially in one of those southern states. There remains the very real threat of grievous bodily injury if one were to state publicly that they were an atheist. People don't seem to care so much here in MA.
Although Soule Road School in Wilbraham MA just caught some flack and bad national press for doing "O'Green's Day" yesterday instead of "St. Patrick's Day". Fox News jumped all over it of course touting "anti-religious, pro-green" politically correct indoctrination of kids. I don't know if anyone heard about it.

It gives comfort to individual practitioners. Society as a whole does not benefit, though.

I've lived almost my entire life in Oregon and Washington (both falling very low on the Religulous chart in the OP), all of it in the greater Portland metro area. It's really not that common to see open public displays of piety here.
I did live near Louisville KY and Huntsville AL for a bit in the late 1980's, and have traveled all over the country. Frankly, I found there was quite a bit of culture shock involved due to the open displays of faith.
Don't remember who commented on Alaska, but in my experience, Sarah Palin is an aberration. Pretty much all the Alaskans I have ever known were hard working, hard partying individualists who's only religion was fishing.

To Round it out:
Summary of results of the 1996, 2000, 2004, and 2008 presidential elections. Red is Republican, Blue is Democrat, Purple means the state went twice for Republicans, twice for Democrats.

My state's 15th out of 50. Not terrible, but still too religious for me.
Trudging through endless religion one step at a time.

The only 2 states I've ever lived in are third and fourth on that list.
How come I'm so awesome?
