Welcome to my world. I can't argue with a word you say. I tend to run into a better cut of folks living in a university town (University of California at Berkeley). When I travel it often feels as though I'm in the movie Deliverance. Hell, I don't really have to travel to connect with the wee minded people. I have only to phone a relative. My older brother hated W Bush for being a pussy, converted to Mormonism and has the same level of curiosity about the world as a box of hammers. A cousin home schools her kids in order to control their access to non-biblical influences.
So how are things in the UK? Is dental hygiene, indigenous cuisine and the level of tobacco smoking showing any signs of improvement? Being the motherland of gardening I have of course been there and met loads of fine people. All kidding aside, thanks for the BBC news. You should check out The News Hour on PBS and Frontline if you ever get stranded here again.

I'm basing this on forum posts(accuracy of research, and asserted opinions), time in America(nyc) talking to the citizens, Americans i know over here, and the media. Of which i have seen untold hours of verbal bullshit, lies, propaganda, half-arsed chat claiming to be reporting, but it's not. It is not journalism, it is only opinion dressed up.
Your links are on higher education. I said your higher education is ace, as that is obvious. I stated that it was pre-university education.

Dental hygiene blows, but it's not expensive thank fuck. The cuisine....... is awesome, the reputation is undeserved.

Yeah, i see that too. Saw a Santorum speech where he was appearing anti College education(how hypocritical), talking about more likely to lose faith at college etc, saying Obama was bad for encouraging kids to go to college!! wtf, i practically tell my 16yr old everyday that college education is a neccesity these days to get any job.

Romney is coming to the UK to raise funds for his campaign from the US billionaires and millionaires who live here.
Oh, RBS pays congressmen too, so no doubt the Royal Bank of SCOTLAND will donate too, as they're the same as a US citizen according to Scalia, Roberts and the other cunts on that non-democratically elected, politically motivated judges.
Freedom of speech works better if you're RBS who are actually older than America(1727), is based in UK, never travels to the US, not even for its holidays, and is not a person, despite SCOTUS's bullshit.......... then it does for any of you.
I've decided in the last month that the US constitution now sucks and needs seriously redrafting/amended. It no longer serves the purpose it used too, unsurprisingly given it's age and the context it was written in.
SCOTUS needs to have terms, say 4 years, and a maximum of 2 terms, not this life bs.

I don't know. I had a decent experience in public schools, but I did a lot of independent learning too. My friends made fun of me all the time for reading in my free time. Who knows how dumb I'd be if I was one of those people who had given a shit.
I grew up in a place that's very proud to be "The Athens of the South". You won't find a place with more top-notch schools/universities. Considering the general intellect around this place, that makes me really, really sad.
