I had to leave the US to get shot at, and by the by FNM, where I come from, being white increases your odds of getting shot..(by yourself or your friends especially..lol).
When my father was speeding through back roads Colorado in his youth late at night, a cop surprised him and pulled him over.
Approaching the car, five feet away and still walking at an rapid, unusual pace, the cop barks "License and registration!"
My dad reaches, without a thought, for his wallet in his right back pocket, to retrieve what the officer had asked for.
Suddenly, my dad feels a cold, hard...
metal... surface at his temple, pressing in. Instantly, he freezes, as he hears the loudest and most threatening click in his life -- closest to his left ear.
"Make one wrong move and you're toast" growled the officer, finger on the trigger and partially depressed, ready to fire a round at point blank at the twitch of a finger.
My dad said he had never shat before in a car until then.
He thinks if he hadn't froze or if the cop was a little more jumpy, he would've been executed like that on the spot and swept under the rug as an "accident".
