Sure I can do that. But who's child? Yours?

"Your gonna believe what I said or God will burn you in Hell for etenity!" (that's sarcasm, not meant to be mean)

How about a disable child. Because I still don't get it.

King James Version (KJV)
1 And the Lord spake unto Moses, saying,
2 Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, If a soul shall sin through ignorance against any of the commandments of the Lord concerning things which ought not to be done, and shall do against any of them:
3 If the priest that is anointed do sin according to the sin of the people; then let him bring for his sin, which he hath sinned, a young bullock without blemish unto the Lord for a sin offering.

Jeremiah 7:21-23
King James Version (KJV)
21 Thus saith the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel; Put your burnt offerings unto your sacrifices, and eat flesh.
22 For I spake not unto your fathers, nor commanded them in the day that I brought them out of the land of Egypt, concerning burnt offerings or sacrifices:

I've appearently been indoctrinated and do not see a contradiction here. Could you point it out as you would to a child.

I've simplified the OP for you.

I have a question for both you and spockrates:
Do either of you believe in the concept of "100% infallible word of God"?

Hmmm, a glitch that causes my subsequent reply to disappear? Guess I'll have to wait till someone else posts... (edit* fixed...)

Man, you currently have two threads currently bashing the bible by pointing out contradictions.
I wasn't bashing the bible (this time), I was questioning you. Where exactly do you stand??? Are you christian, a believer in the bible, a heathen? Don't project your crazy onto me. You're the one playing both sides whenever it suits you.

What you consider "bashing" is just me presenting my own interpretation of the "truth" about what is actually written. Is that what frustrates you? That when you look at what I write, you see the logic?

I don't accept any labels that you would attemp to place on me, but you can call me a Christian if you like. Just because I don't adhere to their religious dogma is no reason to label me as a "heathen".

I stand on my own two feet, not the "church's", not yours, not anyone's except my own. If you can't deal with that, it would probrably be better for you to skip over my posts.

@ catfish, I also see no contradiction, you must see the verses saying something no one else can, I to ask you to spell this contradiction out in your own words, thanks.
God loves those who believe and those who do not and the same goes for me, you have no choice in this matter. That puts the matter of total free will to rest.

Is this an example of "blind faith"?

Here it is, spelled out for you.

The Lord supposedly commands a sacrifice in the first example, then the Lord supposedly says he never commanded sacrifices.

No, He did not, He said that when the Israelites left Egypt He had not asked them to make a sacrifice. God asked Abraham to sacrifice his son, then God provided a ram for sacrifice, this happened many, many years before the Israelites left Egypt.
God was trying to get across to them if they would obey His commandments, ie laws, there would be no need for sacrifice.

Oh, come on! If God didn't want us to eat the animals why'd He make them out of meat?

The Abraham story was told to me when I very young. I knew at that moment that the Bible was man-made. There is no way in Hades that I would even contemplate sacrificing another human and if you think God would ever ask this of a person you are a sick individual.

You can use whatever hocus-pocus explaination you want to condone such actions, but I want you to contemplate this:

Isaiah 5:20-21
King James Version (KJV)

20 Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!
21 Woe unto them that are wise in their own eyes, and prudent in their own sight!

Human sacrifice is condemned, PERIOD!

Now I ask you again, do you believe the Bible is 100% the word of God?

This is the funniest thing I've read in a while.

What, if they didn't there would be? Why is that? Beyond god just getting thirsty, obviously.
