Good ol' American exceptionalism. What applies to others bounces off us and sticks to you. Nazis roll into Poland = naked aggression. We roll into Iraq = pre-emptive strike .. the best defense is a good offense.

Some think we are the emissaries of God himself, come to spread democracy everywhere but at home.

I'm not sure if the stupid goes as deep anywhere else as it does here.

lol, "West Indies and So On". "Singapore". The two standouts (to me).
I am the Infantry. I am my country’s strength in war, her deterrent in peace. I am the heart of the fight… wherever, whenever. I carry America’s faith and honor against her enemies. I am the Queen of Battle. I am what my country expects me to be, the best trained Soldier in the world. In the race for victory, I am swift, determined, and courageous, armed with a fierce will to win. Never will I fail my country’s trust. Always I fight on…through the foe, to the objective, to triumph overall. If necessary, I will fight to my death. By my steadfast courage, I have won more than 200 years of freedom. I yield not to weakness, to hunger, to cowardice, to fatigue, to superior odds, For I am mentally tough, physically strong, and morally straight. I forsake not, my country, my mission, my comrades, my sacred duty. I am relentless. I am always there, now and forever. I AM THE INFANTRY! FOLLOW ME!

Pretty damned funny. Nice to know we're not the only country with conservatwits that don't know geography.

Here's one I see they use a lot....calling Judaism a Bronze-age religion....even the Believers think this is the case.

They would get so much further in their attacks if they actually correctly identified the period in which it formed....Jews and Christians can't defend against it that well.

And another, they believe the GOP policies Obama has passed are socialist or that he is a Moslem.
But if we walk in the light, as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, His Son, purifies us from all sin.

One of my favourites is the American insistence that they believe in free trade, when they clearly do not.

I'm an American, but I don't believe any of that stuff.

One of the stupidest things that non-Americans believe is that all Americans are drooling fools... or so it seems.

I think most of the people I know are pretty ignorant. I hear stupid things come out of peoples' mouths on a daily basis, but the same people are hard workers, good at their jobs, friendly, funny, caring, and inspiring in some way. They might not know some simple facts, but it doesn't mean they aren't worthy of respect, or less fantastic than someone from another country.

Who gives a shit. America isn't the only country with ignorant, poorly educated people. Big fucking whoop.

What slayed me were the three strips of 'Portugal'.

I was going to comment on those, but you beat me to it.

There's a famous quote from some game show: "I thought Europe was a country"

Clearly, Portugal is made of bacon.
