LOL! Seriously?
I challenge you to show me where I have contradicted myself...

A little over a week here and I'm already on your mind? I wonder why that would be? Thinking

Do you have anything theological to add to this thread, or are you going to rant about your unique beliefs without actually elaborating on what you believe again?

What does Paul actually mean when he says "through one man, sin entered the world" in Romans 5:12 and why did Jesus need to be crucified to revert the effects of an allegory?

This might have come up before in threads. I just wanted a clear and definite answer to this in order to help me construct an argument I'm working on.

Thanks very much.

Paul's saying was most likely a fabrication to support the notion that human sacrifice was needed for atonement. I believe neither statement...

Fuck man, you just couldn't wait to jump on me? WTF???

Yeah I wonder why...

Oh that's why, because I prophesied that you wouldn't act any differently.

Instead of saying what you're not, can you please start with stating what you are? Otherwise I'm going to have to wait 30 000+ posts for you to finally have ruled out every possible denomination you fall under in order to finally understand your beliefs.

Well, it's my thread. Don't post here if you don't have anything meaningful to add.

Ok. The Bible is an ancient book filled with superstitious lies.

QED.

OK, you want meaningful?
You have your mind made up and you don't really want an answer. You want something that you think you can pick apart and ridicule. You lost "reason" as soon as you closed your mind to alternative explanations. You take what other people tell you as "fact" (term used loosely) without applying any type of free-thinker logic. You are just like every other sheeple...
Was that "meaningful" enough?

It's a start. Now how about you take up the challenge and answer my free-thinking-inspired thread? I stated before I'm looking for any answer that shows it's sensical to believe Genesis to be allegorical all the while showing how it relates to literal events in the NT.

P.s. you of all people would have an interesting answer I would expect. Otherwise all your ranting about "unique beliefs" is in vain.

ROFLOL

You think you've won without even being able to produce an explanation for what you believe? Hilarious.

Right, so "literally" Genesis poetically describes the relationship between God and man. A-ha, so you're up to speed with my dad i.e. you're telling me you believe Genesis is not history. Great, we just reiterated the OP. Now onto the question at hand:

What does this mean in terms of the saviour of the world? Why did he die for you? What did he save us from, an ambiguous and confused poem that proves itself to be too futile to produce a sound theology that answers the question "what did he save us from"?
Back to front: yes definately to modern misunderstanding.

Poetically, not exactly. Literally theological, but I assume you knew this. But you say I'm on a par with your dad, which I clearly am not??

Jesus saves us from sin in this theological construct. Not some fabricated logical car crash of poetry/ pseudo science.

How blind are you to the words that you wrote? It was a loaded question that I answered despite your flawed wording and you weren't happy with my answer. You then confirm what I said about you being closed-minded and now you expect me to explain?

And for the record, I haven't won, you've lost... (if you can understand what I mean by that, you have a chance)
