Now a Hindu Group Wants a Monument at the Oklahoma Capitol

RE: Now a Hindu Group Wants a Monument at the Oklahoma Capitol
Damn. I can't believe I'm cheering for the Hindus now.

Anyway, I want to hear MarxRaptor explain his version of Satanism before I judge it one way or the other. As for Christianity, I've heard it explained a lot of different ways by a lot of different people and, honestly, it still doesn't make sense to me. Am I certain Polaris has a belief system that will sound like nonsense? Not absolutely certain, no, but fi he actually does make sense, it will somehow put him above 99.9999% of the Christians I've heard from so far.

So that's what we need to do!

Quote:Satanism is just a counter-cultural movement towards Christianity in America and was much more popular in the years before it became acceptable to merely say one was an atheist.

Eh, I don't have use for either one.

Can we just savor the irony of a christian shitting on any other religion for a dearth of logic and reason? Because that it rich like fucking dark chocolate.

...and what would that be?
Their fanciful beliefs are inferior to your fanciful beliefs in what way? Did Satan not have enough burning bushes? Satan didn't demand enough blood sacrifice? Not enough worldwide genocide? Satan didn't execute his own son?

Tell me, what is it about any given religion that makes it "legitimate" enough to be placed in a public forum and paid for by everyone ... even those who worship differently??

Please do enlighten us oh King Stupid.

I want a big ugly sculpture on the OK court house lawn. A real eye-sore. Sharp prickly metal all the way around. And I want it to make an obnoxious grinding noise all night long. And it should smell bed. Really bad.

I will insist that the obnoxious monument represents true xtianity as the founding fathers of the US intended. So taking it down, I will insist, would be offensive to xtians.
A mind is a terrible thing to waste -- don't pollute it with bullshit.

If nothing else this should serve to highlight to the initial instigators of this how stupid and short sighted they were.

But it probably won't.
