And they are more than welcome to hold that view. It doesn't stop God from existing.

"For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who suppress the truth in unrighteousness, because what may be known of God is manifest in them, for God has shown it to them. For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead, so that they are without excuse, because, although they knew God, they did not glorify Him as God, nor were thankful, but became futile in their thoughts, and their foolish hearts were darkened. Professing to be wise, they became fools, and changed the glory of the incorruptible God into an image made like corruptible man—and birds and four-footed animals and creeping things." (Rom 1:18-23)

That's a real pity for you then, because evolution is a confirmed, biological fact. We can literally watch it happening, in some cases. Denying it now is the same as denying that the sky is blue, or that you need air to live.

I don't know, and I'm not going to pretend that I do either. So far, the evidence points to abiogenesis, but I'm comfortable in accepting that we don't have a definitive answer yet.

Why would I even bother, then? Why would you even bother coming here? If you're happy to seal yourself away from rational conversation, to make your beliefs impenetrable to reason and facts, and to work solely from unjustified presuppositions, then why don't you just sit in a room with a bible and pat yourself on the back over and over while telling yourself how right you are?

Nobody is going to take you seriously if you stick to this sentiment. If your mission here is to share the words of your god with us, then you've failed as long as you keep this presupposition, because now you have no credibility. We value honesty here, and if your position is "The bible's right, and if any fact disagrees with it, then it's wrong, because the bible's right," then you have an inherently dishonest position, and we will not take you seriously.

Well you tell me. Is something only true when evidence is given for it?

It's not true if no evidence is given for it. In that instance, it would be a possibility, at best.

If there is no way that it can be disproven, it's not a possibility which is likely enough to be worth examining, and your only actual justification for believing it is true is your wish that it was true.

Ironically, The Good News likely believes Darwin theorized that elephants evolved from fleas, but rejects it as a miracle only God is capable of performing.

Well according to atheism everyone is a monkey.

What did you think we were, sheep? Of course we're classed with monkeys. Consult any comparative anatomy text you like and you'll find that our 'design' is most akin to monkeys. If you don't believe that is because of evolution you are welcome to believe that god was just monkeying around when he put us together.

I could give you evidence for something which is true, and you could outright reject that evidence. It wouldn't stop the thing that is true from being true.

Yet when asked for proof fo your deity we've always received nothing but claims from incredulity and ignorance.

No more than your believing as you do stops the world as I experience it from existing.

Pro-tip: stop trying so hard to save me from the consequences of my choices and I'll leave off telling you how absurd yours seem from my perspective. Nobody here cares what you believe on a hunch. Nor do we appreciate your condescending concern which really amounts to nothing more than your lame ass attempt to curry favor with god. It is insulting and an unappreciated imposition.

Well, I can see this thread doesn't require my presence. I'll watch from the wings for any god-squad bullshit you guys might miss.
At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist.  This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair.  Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second.  That means there's a situation vacant.'

Evolution THEORY is a theory not a fact. God created different creatures after their "kind." We could see some changes happen after generations like skin pigmentation but nothing close from one kind changing into another kind -- like a frog evolving into a gopher. The fossil record shows no such evidence of that kind of transformation.

God said that Creation itself testifies that there is a Creator.

Evolution is a fact. The Theory of Evolution is a theory. The one describes the other; they are not interchangeable.

Similarly, the Theory of Gravity describes the fact of gravitational attraction.

Good, then you can define the classification "kind" for us.

Yep; that's evolution.

How about a reptile evolving into a bird?

How convenient for you. The creator exists because the creation proves the creator exists. Now demonstrate that this creator is "God".
