Same for me (30 next month), and I'm happy as can be. My family keeps asking when me and my husband are going to contribute to the growing number of babies in our family, though. :/

I get it from my mother - and have been since I turned 20. She's got that whole devout Catholic "must have kids" thing going on.

Why destroy healthy life in the womb?

You should ask a woman, they have plenty of reasons.

Who's to say it's healthy?
Are you claiming all abortions are carried out on healthy fetuses?
If so, you need to provide citation and evidence to support that nonsense.

A woman considers an abortion in the case the pregnancy is either an economic or social liability or both.
There is no deeper meaning to it, its just a cold logic at work there.
Quote: So, in summation, god gave women the role of child-bearer (which is important, just not as important as being a man, apprently) and babies are his blessed gift to humanity, and it should be an honor to any woman to have one. To have an abortion is to spit in god's eye and his plans for humanity. Or so I've been told.
Well, in a way, they're right. Though from a secular perspective, nature gave women the role of child-bearer. The have all the proper equipment to be an incubator.
Though society and economical circumstances can make motherhood and family life a hard thing nowadays.
People also need to understand that.
I personally think that abortion should only be a method of disposing of a very deformed/retarded child, or a life threatening pregnancy.
Other than that, there are a full range of other methods available for women to use to avoid pregnancies. Abortion on the other hand presents a quick way out. It does, in my opinion, drive people to be irresponsible. Its akin to selling morphine without prescription in a common drug-store.

What is that even supposed to mean?
Make more sense.

Wow, I got an answer.
Eugenics has nothing to do with it. A fetus can be ill or healthy, sometimes terminally so while in the womb.
Don't generalise, it's a bad habit.

The life of an individual means little. All births must be healthy for the sake of posterity.
The individual counts for nothing , but the sick cannot determine the future of the group.
