A god? As in all-powerful?!
With people running around this planet already? Or are we talking about god and nothing else for eternity?
Aw.. heck, let's go with the simple one. People are around and misbehaving and I have the power to stop it.
Make a worldwide inescapable statement to everyone to stop hurting others.
Disable the physics of weapons, except for the ones used in law enforcement... and which law? My law!
Law 1: Don't hurt anyone who doesn't want to get hurt. How can you tell if they don't want it? well, assume they don't and wait for them to tell you they do want!
And then there are other laws... simple behavioral rules, like "behave yourselves!"
Failure to comply with the law leads to magical heart attack.... the severity of the attack is proportional to the severity of the law-breakage.
Oh, and no after-life for anyone!
Also... no influencing diseases... let the medical professionals keep their jobs and keep researching everything.
hmmm.. white collar crimes? yeah, those get a heart attack, too.
With the disabling of weaponry, I'd be hinting the governments of the world that they should channel funding away from the military... and into actual useful social things, like medical care for everyone... proper education for everyone... food for everyone... little things.

if someone makes up a text about me ill make sure its accurate and doesn't have contradictions. Every thousands of years to the modern age and future ill make sure to tell them throw away the old one ill give you something that is more useful to the world around you now. Ill let people believe in other gods if people want another god ill just create gods for those peoples except the judo christian god. if someone kills in the name of me or other gods they will get get struck by lighting.

Actually - the problem is that - the ONLY correct answer to this question is
"I would not actually exist"
Gods are fictional characters in religious mythology - and the mythology defines them in ways that cannot all be true - even for one - at the same time.
Now when you add that there have been more than 10,000 or more gods so far named - and they all have their own characteristics - there is really NO set meaning to that word god.
