I don't know Jennys mom...and I've certainly never thrown my leg over an old man just to oblige him...but I've been known to belt both out. Not much difference between that and Silent Night or Three Kings...to my mind.

What instrument do you play?

For those experiencing angst supporting Christers via Christmas music, try George Winston's December.

If that is too much, you can fall back to Winter into Spring.

I'm not very talented musically speaking (especially vocally) but I really enjoy much Christian music. I like Bach and Handel in particular. And I'm very fond of a number hymns. I like Gospel too.

Modern Christian rock and especially rap tends to be embarrassingly bad.

Haha, it is almost funny how obvious a christian rock song is within hearing the first few words of a song. They're quite the cookie cutter sort of music. There's many different types of cookies, but they all use the same mold. haha

Play well or just play? lol. Guitar, Appalachian Dulcimer. I fool around with just about every string, piano - and of course mah wonderful pipes.
I am the Infantry. I am my country’s strength in war, her deterrent in peace. I am the heart of the fight… wherever, whenever. I carry America’s faith and honor against her enemies. I am the Queen of Battle. I am what my country expects me to be, the best trained Soldier in the world. I yield not to weakness, to hunger, to cowardice, to fatigue, to superior odds, For I am mentally tough, physically strong, and morally straight. I forsake not, my country, my mission, my comrades, my sacred duty. I am relentless. I am always there, now and forever. I AM THE INFANTRY! FOLLOW ME!

I don't really care for most Christmas music, not on religious grounds, but on musical grounds.

But I've been meaning to work up a fingerstyle-jazz version of "Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas", I think that could be pretty fun.

I'm really not that talented. I'm pretty mediocre, actually.
