I think he does, but he's trying to make a point that Beccs is being unfair in her somewhat minimalist (*) definition of Christianity.

Ah, OK. Well yes, Christianity means virtually anything these days. It's a veritable pick 'n' mix of unfalsifiable delights.

Would love to give him the benefit of the doubt in this manner, but eugenics is too misplaced for the assumed purpose. Instead he should have found another literary faux pas (perahps even with a reference to Lamarck), or at least something that invokes the concept of dishonesty.

Considering Chad's beliefs, God is the one practicing eugenics; Darwin is just pointing it out.

I think he urgently needs to clarify here Big Grin

Darwinism IS eugenics.

Would you care to join us in the 21st century, Chadboy?
Skepticism is not a position; it is an approach to claims.

Chad, a simple visit to any dictionary will point out to you your misuse of the word eugenics.

...and hence your misunderstanding of the concept.

Isn't the Big Bang Theory different than evolution? I am open to learning of new ways that we are therefore existing. But I threw the god theory out the window, too.

The big bang is abiogenesis. Evolution studies how things change. Not where the first lifeforms originated.

RE: Non-Evolutionists?
Yes, creationists often treat the big bang, abiogenesis and evolution as all the same thing. That's because they either don't want to learn about science because they are scared what they might find, or they are too lazy to even try.

And because all apologetic arguments are fundamentally dishonest. The only question is whether they are wilfully dishonest, or just ignorant.

Huh? I hope you mean that metaphorically...? Like abiogenesis is like the big bang of biology, or so?
