The hell reference was due to a discussion about hell, that was a few years ago also.
Neither are meant to be condemning or threatening, they both however are true as far as my beliefs go.

I would argue that you don't believe those statements - otherwise you would not include them as jokes in your signature. You say you believe those statements, because it's a requirement for your denomination, but your common sense tells you that those statements are a joke - cognitive dissonance.

No they are real, absolutely real, Nietzsche is dead and a stroll through hell would reveal much. So don't tell me what I believe, you are not a mind and heart reader. All I said about them, they were not intended to judge or offend. I'm sorry if you take offence to them but, that's you not my intentions.

God loves those who believe and those who do not and the same goes for me, you have no choice in this matter. That puts the matter of total free will to rest.

Nietzsche is a honest atheist you cannot prove he is in heaven or hell. He wasn't person he felt that everyone should be equal. he made the assessment that god is dead for the Europeans and guess what he right because secularism leads the way of killing god in a sense.

The death of God may lead beyond bare perspectivism to outright nihilism, the belief that nothing has any inherent importance and that life lacks purpose. Here he states that the Christian moral doctrine provides people with intrinsic value, belief in God (which justifies the evil in the world) and a basis for objective knowledge. In this sense, in constructing a world where objective knowledge is possible, Christianity is an antidote to a primal form of nihilism—the despair of meaninglessness. As Heidegger put the problem, "If God as the suprasensory ground and goal of all reality is dead, if the suprasensory world of the ideas has suffered the loss of its obligatory and above it its vitalizing and upbuilding power, then nothing more remains to which man can cling and by which he can orient himself." - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Friedrich_N...d_nihilism

so he made a good point on his stance. and to say he is in hell a place that doesn't exist mind you is really harsh.

But he is dead.
"Well, evolution is a theory. It is also a fact. And facts and theories are different things, not rungs in a hierarchy of increasing certainty. Facts are the world's data. Theories are structures of ideas that explain and interpret facts. Facts don't go away when scientists debate rival theories to explain them. Einstein's theory of gravitation replaced Newton's in this century, but apples didn't suspend themselves in midair, pending the outcome. And humans evolved from ape- like ancestors whether they did so by Darwin's proposed mechanism or by some other yet to be discovered."

So I've read. But are any of the schisms of any real size? I've never met any but the main branch--at least not knowingly.

RLDS (currently Community of Christ) has 1/4 million. I think FLDS might be in the 10s of thousands.

An interesting point about some of the early (and now defunct) schisms like the Whitmerites and the Strangites is they were founded by very highly placed Mormons who ran afoul of Smith or Young. IIRC, more than one 'actual' witness to the gold plates or angels appearing to Joseph Smith later on apostacized or were excommunicated.

The group that founded the early settlement of Preparation, Iowa were led by a con man, although the followers took a while to figure that out.

The 100 schisms include groups that schismed from schisms. For instance, the Remnant Church has split from RLDS, and they split from LDS. I'm not sure if anyone has split from the Remnant Church, (I know a couple members) but if I hear of any, I'll post about it.
