Was Jeff Dahmer a christian while he was homosexually necro-assaulting someone he had murdered and was in the process of eating and turning into an altar, or did his christianity dissipate during those acts, and either only reassert itself after he finished up or while he was in church during his next visit (but was still going to repeat the acts later on) assuming while he was in church he was neither aroused from his prior actions, and was not jonesing for some more human brain tissue to eat ??
Or, if Jeff had vocally re-asserted his christian faith during his penetration of a human corpse rectum, would he have nevertheless been christian during the commision of the act ?

Except for Chadwooters, theists have not come to this thread to explain what a true Christian is.
Considering that Drich felt so strong about the issue that he started two threads because he was annoyed we used the term Christian for Mormons and Catholics, this should be a discussion tailored made for him.
I have a theory that he and some of the Christians on this site don't want to define the term because they like claiming that anything they dislike is not Christian and they are frightened that we would hold them to any definition that they wrote out. If they said that a real Christian believes Jesus is the son of god and is part of the Trinity, we would ask how they can call Catholics nonChristian.
If you aren't afraid, please write in your own words, the bare minimum requirements to be Christian.
Please notice I said some Christians. I am not lumping you all together.

My definition of a christian is a follower of Jesus Christ. To really learn what a christian is one must be honestly open to to the Holy Spirit and study the scriptures. It begins with an acceptance of the sacrifice of Christ for your sins. From there it is a growing process. A christian isn't just one who claims to be, but one who has given his life over to Christ. If I'm a christian, it will be evidenced by my lifestyle.
